Pousada Mirage Atins 
We ( my 2 children, age 19 and 23 and myself) had a fantastic time in this pousada, summer 2013 and we highly recommend it. The hosts are very friendly and helpful: we spent great evenings together, eating their homemade food and drinking delicious caiprinas. They were extremely helpful regarding finding the right local people as guides for our sightseeing. The place is absolutely beautiful, with a great garden and very comfortable rooms… for really cheap. The location is grand, being a little further than the very touristic zone; it is therefore nice and quiet. If you go to this wonderful part of Bresil, don’t miss this pousada…you will not regret it !! Among all of the numerous pousadas we went to during our trip, it definetly was one of the very best
My boyfriend and I were among the first guests to stay at Mirage during the summer 2013, and we had more than a great stay! Atins is wonderful: walks and games on the beach, beautiful escapades in the Lençois and the islands nearby (try the red birds island at sunset), kitesurfing, etc.
The hosts are the kindest, and bring a family spirit to the pousada that gives a different turn to your holidays: family, simple life and volleyball games on the beach volley field behind the pousada. It is well located, a 7 minutes walk to the beach, 2 minutes from the main “street” (considering a street as a sand canal!). Its quiet and away from the few buggy noise that you could hear at night when being on the main street, well decorated, and everything is made so that the guest feels at home. We would definitely come back at Mirage and will recommend the experience to our friends.

Pousada Mirage es una opción buenísima para pasar tus días en Atins. Está muy bien ubicada, cerca del puerto de entrada y de la playa, ideal para los que vamos a hacer kite. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas y tiene un jardín increíble lleno de plantas y flores.
Pero lo que hace que esta posada sea realmente especial es su gente. Gracias Mirage por los tiempos compartidos!
A beautiful pousada in the middle of a typical village, very close to the lençois maranhenses Park, this seems like one of the best places on earth, and it is!
Thierry and Jane are really helpful for the arrangements for your excursions, you can be sure that you will have a great time at the pousada Mirage!
La pousada Mirage à Atins est une option parfaite pour visiter les Lançois car elle se trouve au point de départ et permet de vivre l’atmosphère particulier de cette région. La pousada est décorée avec beaucoup de goût et les hôtes sont plus que sympathiques ce qui fait qu’on s’y sent bien et qu’on a pas envie d’en partir.
I’ve been staying in the pousada for 2 weeks now and it’s absolutely lovely here. The hosts are really nice and generous people. For breakfasts you get delicious pancakes, fruits and fresh juice. Rooms and clean and spacey.
The pousada is located in a very good place – it’s close to the spot where the boats from Cabure arrive, close to the internet spot, and relatively close to the beach. So there is piece and quiet here and at the same time everything is within an easy reach.
I fully recommend it and hope to come here next year.
